The unique microwell design ensures highly reproducible growth of spheroid cultures. The unique FLIP TO RELEASE transfer method greatly improves the speed and ease of transferring spheroids into larger vessels for further development and growth. It also ensures a much more gentle EB transfer compared to pipetting! Simply flip the EB-DISK over a suitable collection vessel to safely release and transfer as much as 948 spheroids in one shot. CHOOSE YOUR FORMAT

We offer EB-DISKs in three different formats so that you can easily grow 137, 360 or 948 embryoid bodies in standard culture dishes. For your convenience, you can further choose between pre-treated EB-DISKs with an ultra-low attachment (ULA) surface coating or follow a simple coating procedure outlined in the user guide to do it yourself. If you want to generate, process and image spheroids without having to ever manipulate or transfer your EBs, our microfluidic HTS-compatible EB-CLARIFY is for you!

REUSABLE

EB-DISKs are made from a biologically inert, durable and flexible polymer, which is autoclavable!  Once you’ve released your EBs for further processing or growth, follow the simple cleaning protocol outlined in the EB-DISK user guide and rejuvenate the device. That way, you can reuse your EB-DISKs over and over! Say goodbye to wasting countless plastic microplates to generate embryoid bodies!

Generating hMOs

Our partners at the  Early Drug Discovery Unity of The Neuro developed a method to scale up the generation of hMOs (human midbrain organoids) using our EB-DISK948. This opens up the possibility to generate larger numbers of hMOs, in a manner that minimizes the amount of labor required, while decreasing variability and maintaining the viability of these hMOs over time.
