Did you decided to incorporate 3D cultures in your research program? At eNUVIO, we know that the first steps in spheroid and organoid production can be extremely laborious, not to mention all the shelf space that classic embryoid body aggregation plates take up in the incubator. Maximize your time and incubator space!
We offer EB-DISKs in three different formats: EB-DISK948, EB-DISK360 and EB-DISK137 .
The EB-DISK948 features 948 microwells and fits into a standard 60 mm round culture dish. This makes it possible to change the media for nearly one thousand embryoid bodies at one time, and then proceed to embed them with your favorite extracellular matrix. There’s no need to use multichannel or repeater pipettes in your embryoid body formation process anymore!
The EB-DISK360 features 360 microwells and fits into the wells of a standard 6-well plate.
The EB-DISK137 features 137 microwells and fits into the wells of a standard 12-well plate.
When your spheroids are ready for the next phase of growth, the EB-DISK can be lifted out of the culture dish, and gently flexed to easily release the embryoid bodies from the microwells. This makes for a simpler, gentler and much more rapid transfer of your EBs into larger culture vessels for continued growth. What’s more, the EB-DISK can be reused to generate another batch of spheroids or organoids by following a simple renewal protocol*.

Storage and Shelf-life:
EB-DISKs should be stored in their original packaging at room temperature and protected from direct sunlight/UV exposure.
The packaged, uncoated device has a shelf life of 2 years from the date of shipment.
Pre-coated devices can be stored in their original packaging at room temperature and protected from direct sunlight/UV exposure for 1 month.
*Renewal requires the use of some reagents not sold by eNUVIO
